"...We met Anthony in a dimly lit bar…. Although it may sound like a corny romance novel this is how it began. Eager as we were to meet him, my wife & I could hardly stay in our seats. Anthony presented his ideas… he had none.. He wanted to get to know us, our personalities, how we interacted with each other. We told him about some idea s we had. We spitball a few together. He was as excited as we were it felt. After our meeting we told Anthony we’ get back to him. Me being the “expert” I was holding out. My wife however had other ideas & instructed me to call him & commit. (Instructed is a nice way of putting it). Several weeks later we were meeting for our engagement photos. All I have to say is I’m glad I decided to go with him. Besides, picking an extremely hot day,the shoot couldn’t have gone better. It was Epic. We met Anthony at a location he picked out for us in River North. His direction was precise. He got some amazing shots. I was uncomfortable with being in front of the camera, Anthony helped me relax and come out of my skin. We couldn’t have had a better time. My wife, on the other hand, left her inhabitions at home. She was a “natural”. He captured her in a way that I had never seen her before. I’ve always thought my wife was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, Anthony was able to bring to light what I see & feel every day. The Engagement photos were just the tip of the Iceberg in Mr. Yoon’s services. The day of the Wedding he really showed his true professionalism. He was on-time even if we weren’t. He was accommodating. Our Families rarely have a chance to get together. He set up a quick family portrait for both sides !!! His style is unmatched. He captured every moment, from crazy times on the dance floor to the tear that left my eye when I first laid eyes on my bride. We love Anthony. We consider him a friend as well as an amazing photographer. We can’t wait for him to shoot our 1st born child, my new motorcycle, etc!!!" -Adam

“Words cannot even begin to explain how happy we are with Anthony Yoon. He was the photographer for our wedding on July 14th, 2018 and definitely lives up to all his positive reviews. We interviewed about 4-5 different photographers, and Anthony stood out giving the best answers to our questions and we were extremely impressed with his artistic eye and creative style. He was professional and charismatic throughout the whole process. Throughout the day, he was very energetic and attentive to all the different shots we wanted and tried his best to fit everything we wanted in, even when certain locations were closed; he still tried. His directions were clear and easy to understand, and he would show us what he was going for with different shots. “I want to begin this review by stating that we couldn’t have been happier with Anthony Yoon. He was everything (and more) that we were hoping for in our photographer. I must admit that we were a little hesitant booking him because he doesn’t have many reviews and we did not know of him, but we were sold when we looked at his website (www.anthonyyoon.com). Thank God we went with him because he was one of the staples of the wedding that made it great! The photos that he took on our day have the same quality as the images in his portfolio. While we were hoping for great photos (which he produced), we were taken back by all the other factors that made him fantastic. First of all, he is hilarious and fun! He had the whole bridal party laughing at his good-natured jokes and friendliness. Admittedly, we were not the most organized bride and groom, but Anthony’s ability to step in and direct group photos was a much needed surprise. On a day that was difficult to photograph the outdoors (cloudy with rain), Anthony was able to get amazing shots around Milwaukee with eye-popping colors. He had a vision for every photograph that he was taking and knew when he got the shot. He never felt intrusive during the ceremony and reception. I do not like it when a photographer is right in the face of the bride when she is walking down the aisle or distracting the guests from the actual vows. Anthony had a way of blending into the background during important moments (must note that he wore a nice suit… I also dislike when photographers are dressed casually), while getting great shots at the same time. First, we had to cancel our wedding because of COVID. He was very generous about the postponement. He then worked with us to identify dates that would work. We actually went through two attempted weddings that didn't work out before finally getting married in August. He was helpful and responsive through the whole process.

When it came to the wedding day, he was professional, prompt, and engaging. He worked with the church and us to respect new COVID related restrictions and family wishes. By the time of the reception he faded into the background and captured the party as it happened, without overly staging photos (as we had requested).

As to the photos, they are spectacular. I feel like we got all the pictures we wanted and some that we didn't know we wanted! He made us look like models. I also can't help but mention that the price was incredible, and we are able to download and print whichever pictures we want.
